When you are the winning bidder of an auction, our system will automatically charge your credit card (on file) the fees owed to StorageTreasures, and an invoice will be generated.
To learn more about our fees; check out this Help Center article.
Where do you find an Invoice?
When an auction ends and you are the winning bidder, you will receive an email with the subject line ‘Paid Invoice - Auction ID #####" with a “View Invoice’ pdf link. The invoice will open in a new tab of your browser so you can download and print with ease.
You can also find your Invoices in your Account under the Invoices tab.
Below are examples of each type of Invoice status:
Invoice Status - Paid Invoice
New! Signatures may be obtained once you have paid the facility and agree to pick up the unit
Invoice Status - Unpaid Invoice
You have 24 hours to pay the fees due to StorageTreasures. If you do not pay within 24 hours, the auction may be offered to a backup bidder, you will no longer be able to pick up the unit, and your bidding privileges will be suspended.
Invoice Status – Cancelled Auction
Always call the facility when the auction ends, to confirm the unit is still available. This will alleviate unnecessary time and expense in case the auction is canceled.
Invoice Status – Defaulted
If the status of your invoice is Defaulted, that means your credit card declined and you lost this unit due to non-payment of StorageTreasures fees within 24 hours after the auction ended.
Invoice – Charity Invoice
Your credit card will be charged the sales price and Buyer Premium.
