Currently, customers on the Self Storage Manager (SSM) platform log in at the PMS level to track various actions, such as partial or full payments, move-out. However, these updates do not automatically translate to an auction cancelation on StorageTreasures. As a result, customers are required to log into StorageTreasures to manually cancel the lien auctions.
With the upcoming enhancement, StorageTreasures will have the capability to automatically detect updates made in the auction ledger, based on the actions from at PMS level, on SSM. When specific changes occur in the ledger, such as a status update to "Remove from Auction," StorageTreasures will trigger an automatic auction cancellation (only for lien auctions). This status update can be linked to various scenarios, including a move-out, auction rescheduling, partial/full payments, or auctions being closed with or without proceeds. As a result, customers will no longer need to manually log into StorageTreasures to cancel lien auctions, as the system will now handle the cancelation process automatically based on the ledger updates in SSM. This change streamlines the process, reduces the need for manual intervention, preventing wrongful sales and offering a more seamless and efficient experience for SSM customers.
