Part 2 - The automation tool for processing Unit Liquidation Cases
- As a Seller, if you have a unit that goes Unsold you can take advantage of our Unit Liquidation Program (ULP). A program designed to eliminate junk removal fees.
- How does it work? With the click of a button, you can offer unsold units at no cost to anyone who has bid at your facility in the last 3 months or is explicitly enrolled in the program instead of paying a junk removal service to come empty units after auction day.
- To try it out, go to your Unsold Auction section within your account.
- Locate the auction unit that did not sell. Then, click the Actions drop-down and select “Request Cleanout”.
- Units must be sealed and unopened and match the auction photos.
- You will be taken to the Case Creation Screen where you will see details about the auction and the number of liquidation bidders available.
- Start the ULP case and offer the unit at no cost by clicking the button “Yes, request cleanout”.
- The act of requesting a cleanout creates a Unit Liquidation Case (ULP Case). You can view any of your open cases in the Case Management section of your account.
- Case Management table features include:
- Filter by Status
- Filter by Date Range
- Search
- Sorting
- Row Details – expand the row using the down/up icon
- Case Management table features include:
- Case Statuses:
- Open – the case is being worked actively, offers have been sent to bidders and can be accepted at any time
- Closed (Canceled) – the case was canceled by the seller and all offers are null and void
- Closed (Unresolved) – the case was closed, and ST was unable to find a bidder to complete the transaction
- Closed (Resolved) – case closed because bidder accepted an offer
*Emails updates will be sent to the facility contact when statuses change.
- When a case is created ST does the following in hopes to find a resolution and get the unit cleaned out quickly.
- Day 1
- New offer text/email to all qualified liquidation bidders
- Day 2
- Reminder text/email to all qualified liquidation bidders
- Day 3
- Reminder text/email to all qualified liquidation bidders
- Reminder text/email to all qualified liquidation bidders
- If a Buyer accepts the offer, you will receive a notice via email. Following that email, an invoice will be emailed to you with the new winning bidder information.
- Next steps, get in touch with the new winner and schedule a time for cleanout.
- The invoice will have a zero balance but provides all necessary details for completing the transfer of goods.
- The cleanout time and cleaning deposit are still applicable.
